Our nature based classroom allows students to learn about their local desert ecosystem scaffolded by experienced educators and guides.
Our programs help kids understand their physical limits, build confidence, increase independence, and develop critical thinking skills.

Kerri Ringel

Excited to merge her love of children, the outdoors, and science through 4 Peaks Kids Outdoor Education.
Kerri received her Master's degree in Early Children Education from National Louis University and has taught STEAM-centric curriculum in her classroom for the last 20 years.
After moving from Chicago to Scottsdale, she was fascinated by the desert ecosystem and can't wait to share the desert with 4 Peaks Kids!
Kerri is Leave No Trace, CPR/AED, Wilderness First Aid (NOLS) certified, and a McDowell Sonoran Conservancy Steward.
Alicia Morton
MEET
Co-Founder
Passionate about helping kids understand the natural world and their place in it through movement and activities in the outdoors.
Before embarking on what she considers her most important journey as a mother, Alicia spent 10 years as a wildland firefighter. This experience gave her a unique perspective about different landscapes and environmental systems.
She hopes to help others connect to the joy and the curiosity that the Sonoran Desert sparks in her.
Alicia is Leave No Trace, CPR/AED, and Wilderness First Aid (NOLS) certified.
